I'm The Featured Designer!

Do you see those beautiful bead sets up there? Aren't they gorgeous? They are 2 sets of many that I must say I OWN! These little beauties were made by Ellen Dooley. I've been buying (okay, hoarding) beads from Ellen for about 2 years now. She makes the most beautiful, glowing etched beads that I've ever seen and I've seen LOTS of beads in my 15 years of designing.

A couple of weeks ago while conversing about my recent purchase Ellen asked me if I would like to be the Featured Designer for February on her website. I said YES of course! I was so thrilled that she had asked me, I gathered up some pics of my favorite pieces, a couple that include her beads and some that don't.
She sent me a great list of interview questions that I answered and my interview is now posted on her website.

Elephant Ear Cheesecake...Huh?

Yes, I said Elephant Ear Cheesecake. You know, those messy delicacies served at most fairs and carnivals. Well, pair that with cream cheese and crescent roll dough and you'll be in dessert heaven! I found this recipe while catching up on some blog posts over at Candie Coopers' blog. That's our second 13 x 9 pan in a week just out of the oven. Yum, Yum!

The Prodigal Designer Returns!

I'm back! I think? Seriously...I am! I know I've been absent for a while. Sorry! I've been busy with life, nothing more. I've made a few new pieces of jewelry and have some exciting news regarding my jewelry that I will share soon! Stay tuned for that!

For now here are a couple new things that are in my Etsy shop . I had a third piece that featured a Jade Scott pendant, but it sold almost immediately (Thanks Debby!).
