Free Bead Giveaway!

Hi all! I promised a bead/supply giveaway so here it is. I've included a pretty piece of pineapple quartz (top drilled), black/bronze czech glass rondelles, goldtone charm, double drilled semi-precious squares (not sure what kind of stone they are) and 4 carved adventurine beads. Play Time

Well, it was a banner day for me yesterday! We all woke up early, I fixed some breakfast, then after we ate my Hubby spoke up and said, "Honey, make sure the baby is fed and I want you to go create. I'll watch the kids while you go play." Whew! Miracles never cease.
Needless to say I was off like a wet bathing suit. I promptly closed the door (and locked it) and was off to bead heaven. I made a few things and enjoyed the solitude. Thanks, Honey!
I made a pretty bracelet with some new Kyanite ovals that I got last weekend at the bead show. I also made a fabulous necklace with this cute ceramic leaf that I found a Michael's. The style is a departure from what I've done in the past, but I am really enjoying the eclectic nature of it. Coming next week on my blog I am going to do a bead giveaway. I'm going to go through my bead stash today and pick out some goodies that I think might be a "find" for someone else. I am also thinking of doing something here on the blog on the first friday of every month, First Friday Freebies. Sound good? Stay tuned for that as well. It could be beads or maybe a pair of earrings. I'm not quite sure how I want to work that. Either way, check back soon for both giveaways.

So much to do, so little time!

Wow, I haven't posted since the beginning of August. Whew! Where does the time go? I guess that's how it is once you have children. My oldest, Noah, was sick this past week and was home from school during that time. He's on the mend now and is back in school. My youngest, Seth, is crawling and cutting teeth. So, he's going everywhere and is fussy at times. That's where my time goes these days.

I just opened a new Etsy shop, http://2ifbysea.etsy.com/, in hopes of making my blog and my shop consistent in name and hopefully by doing that I can get my name out there and get some much needed sales and exposure for my jewelry. I love making things so much, but it's hard to keep making things when they aren't selling on a regular basis. Hopefully that's all about to change.

My next goal is to beef up this blog, start running some giveaways of beadies and other goodies, and join some more Etsy teams. So if you're into beads check back often and I will have a giveaway coming up very soon! I've got to take pics of the goodies, then I'll post them and use RIG (random integer generator) to pick a winner! Sound good?
